On November 29th, 2018, the Third International Forum on Clean Energy took place in St. Petersburg at the Hotel Ambassador. The Forum gathered representatives of business, state, and non-commercial organizations, as well as academia, to discuss the transition to clean energy, Russian position and role in the international energy politics, corporate and state climate strategies, as well as climate risks management.

On October 9th, the ENERPO Research Center welcomed François Lévêque, professor at Mines-ParisTech and Director of the Chair “Economics of Natural Gas”, who presented his work on the natural gas competition: the case of Gazprom against US LNG and the EU antitrust law. The research fellow of the Chair, Ekaterina Dukhanina, also PhD candidate at Mines-ParisTech, presented her work on the integration of the natural gas market.  

ENERPO Research Center participated in the 2018 Annual Conference in Cambridge, organised by the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES).

Executive director of the ENERPO Research Center Maxim Titov took part in the ICC Russia round table "Green Financing: International Experience and Russian Practice" along with other experts of the Commission on the Economics of Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

On April 4-6, ENERPO Research Center fellow Irina Mironova took part in the Regional Energy Security Conference, organized by George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (GCMC) in cooperation with the Central Asia Institute for Strategic Studies (CAISS). The conference was held in Almaty (Kazakhstan). This conference aimed at addressing the new energy security dynamics in the world with a focus on Central Asia.

On November 15, 2017, at the 23rd UN Climate Conference (COP23) in Bonn, the Russian pavilion held a conference "The participation of Russian business in the implementation of the country's climate policy. Russian Partnership for Climate Conservation", where the ENERPO Center executive director, Maxim Titov, presented the report "Energy efficiency projects in Russia: implementation and financing".

The forth session of the Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency was held in Geneva on 31 October – 1 November, 2017.

On February 6, 2018, Moscow hosted the first meeting of the Commission on the Economics of Climate Change and Sustainable Development, formed as part of the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce - the World Business Organization (ICC Russia).

The Research Center for Energy Policy of the European University in St. Petersburg has summed up the results of the contest "Clean Energy - 2017", held with the support of the Climate Partnership of Russia,ICC Russia, Baker McKenzie and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Second international forum CLEAN ENERGY took place on November 30, 2017 in the Hotel Indigo in St. Petersburg. The Forum participants discussed clean energy potential in Russia and green investment intstuments and tools in general.

The Exhibition of the Academic Research Achievements (VDNKh) is held by the European University at St Petersburg (EUSP) every year, and showcases the ongoing research of all 5 faculties and 14 research centers at EUSP. The university think-tank on energy politics, green finance, and sustainable development, invites guests to its first event in the framework of the VDNKh.

On October 4, the Executive Director of the ENERPO RC Maxim Titov took part in the Swiss-Russian round table "Energy Innovations for a More Efficient World" hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow in the frame of the Russian Energy Week. 

At the invitation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the delegation of the ENERPO Research Center took part in the conference "Meeting the Challenge of Sustainable Energy Development", which was held in Astana on June 11-14, 2017.

On November 10, 2016, the ENERPO Research Center, with the support of Gazprom Neft, held the Clean Energy Forum 2016.
