Executive Director of IC ENERPO Maxim Titov took part in the round table "Green Financing: International Experience and Russian Practice", organized by ICC Russia.
This is the first event on "green" financing organized by ICC Russia within the framework of the Commission on the Economics of Climate Change and Sustainable Development, which was formed this February of 60 experts - government officials, large industrial companies', banks, development institutions and leading law firms representatives.
The work of the round table was opened by Tatiana Monaghan, Secretary General of the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce - World Business Organization. She noted that the issue of "green" financing and sustainable development, as shown by practice, is in high demand in the Russian banking and industrial communities, and ICC Russia is planning to hold a series of round tables on this issue.
The moderator of the event was Sergey Chestnoy, Advisor to the General Director of RUSAL, and Chairman of the ICC Russia Commission on the Economics of Climate Change and Sustainable Development. Opening the event, he expressed the hope that the round table wouldl contribute to understanding the challenges for the "green" financing and identifying the most interesting issues that have not been sufficiently developed.
