Education at the EUSPB is based on a modern academic and methodological infrastructure, above all a unique library, a model of college libraries of a modern level.
The library’s holdings include around 50,000 books and periodicals; the Library offers open access to stacks. The EUSP Library holdings include also rich electronic resources, publications in audio- and video-format, and optical disks.
Readers enjoy full-text databases of periodicals and books in Russian and foreign languages (electronic library): EBSCO, JSTOR, Elsevier, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, eHRAF World Cultures, EastView, Project MUSE, ProQuest Databases, and many others.
From its first day, the EUSP Library became one of Russia’s best specialized libraries. Over the years, the EUSP faculty and students contributed vastly to collecting the principal recent publications from all over the world in the disciplines taught at the University.
The training seminars and exhibitions organized by the EUSP Library for librariens of St. Petersburg and other Russian cities are aimed at presenting to the librarians' community new publications from leading publishing houses in North America and Europe, as well as with new electronic resources.
