Within a few months, the ENERPO Reseatch Center had received dozens of applications from various regions of Russia, contesting in three nominations: media, business and science. The projects were then selected by an expert jury gathered by the European University.

The contest aimed at drawing attention to the sustainable development issues, and its results were announced on November 30 in the frame of the second international forum CLEAN ENERGY, dedicated to the energy efficiency potential and green investment tools in Russia and abroad.

Olga Gorelik from the Vladimir branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration has carried out the best scientific project. Her work on Analysis of the indicators of sustainable development proposed by the World Bank (on the example of the Russian Federation) was supervised by Alexandra Avdonina, who came with her student to the Forum "Clean Energy - 2017".

The title of the best "green" businessman was won by Iya Gordeeva, General Director of AuditEnergo Group - for developing the charging stations infrastructure for electric vehicles. Iya also took part in the forum as a speaker and participated in the discussion on investments in clean energy. She told the guests about the joys of the victories and the complexities of the development of the infrastructure for the growing regional community of eco-car owners and demonstrated her electric car Tesla parked outside the Indigo Hotel in St. Petersburg, where the forum was held.

In the media category it is the Novosibirsk project Kislorod.Life - information portal about energy, ecology and industry - that became winner. Julia Kamoylik, its representative, as well as other winners, has received gifts from partners and organizers of the contest: a study trip to Holland and souvenirs from the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in St. Petersburg, literature on sustainable development from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and wooden eco-diploma from the EUSP.

The winners were announced by Hans Wesseling, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in St. Petersburg and Maxim Titov, Executive Director of ENERPO Research Center.
