The association of Finnish sociologists, the Westermarck Society, expresses its unanimous support for the European University at St. Petersburg (EUSP) whose activities are endangered due to alleged violations of administrative regulations.

COURT HEARING NEWS, April 5, 2017

Today, on April 5, 2017, the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast ruled on the EUSP claim against the Committee for Property Relations to declare unjustified the unilateral refusal to implement the lease agreement. The court did not uphold the EUSP claim. The decision of the court may be appealed at the 13th Arbitration Appeal Court within a month after its publication.

COURT HEARING NEWS, March 30, 2017

The preliminary hearing on the EUSP lawsuit challenging the inspection act of Rosobrnadzor's recurrent order to eliminate violations took place today, on March 30, 2017. Representatives of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science applied with a motion for termination of proceedings. However, Judge Lyubov Dranko left the application open and scheduled a hearing for April 27, 2017 By that date the EUSP should provide its review on the motion of Rosobrnadzor and the latter shall submit a written opinion of its director.
