On October 29th, Mikhail Kotyukov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, and Deputy Minister Aleksei Medvedev paid a visit to the European University in St. Petersburg. At a meeting with Rector Vadim Volkov and Provost Natalia Mazur, they discussed questions of the modernization and development of doctoral and masters' programs and the training of university administrators, as well as the need for analysis of deep changes, and long-term effects of reforms, in the field of higher education.
The university presented its new educational program, University Management, and research from the Center for Institutional Analysis of Science and Education. These presentations were given by the respective project leaders Svetlana Lavrova and Katerina Guba.
