Graeme Wheeler (Advisor and Independent Non-Executive Director of the World Bank Group) and Hans-Joerg Rudloff (Barclays Capital Chairman) gave lecture united by the common topic.

Graeme Wheeler presented a macroeconomic view to this issue. He elaborated on the types of international capital flows and discussed main factors determining their directions and intensity.

Hans-Joerg Rudloff considered the microeconomic side of the problem. He reviewed a history of international capital market, in the development of which he personally took part, and told about its main financial instruments, primarily the government bonds.
