In 2009-2010 members and graduates of the Gender Studies Program participated in the project “Engendered Municipal ARENA”. The Project aim was to create an interaction network of municipal officials, women’s NGOs and gender researchers/academicians, and to implement the gender Mapping on municipal level in St.Petersburg. Coordinators of the Gender Studies Programm Elena Zdravomyslova and Anna Temkina were involved in this project in order to generate innovative advocacy strategies, to assist governmental and non-governmental institutions to establish collaboration (berween Municipal Commissions and NGOs) for further activity, and to educate relevant stakeholders.
