On the 25th of June, the executive director of the ENERPO Research Center Maxim Titov participated in the session «Climate Change: Tackling a Global Challenge» of the VI World Petroleum Council Youth Forum – 6th Future Leaders Forum organized by the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council (RNC WPC). Participants discussed affordable, scalable solutions in the oil and gas industry which are crucial to enable countries to leapfrog to more resilient economies and achieve a successful energy transition to a low-carbon future. Apart from Maxim Titov, keynote speakers of the open dialogue were Alexey Cherepovitsyn, Dean of Economic Department at the Mining University (Russia), Ramazan Zhampiissov, Head of Sustainable Development and Urbanization at the UNDP (Kazakhstan), Alaa Al Zarafi, Reservoir Navigation Engineer at the Baker Hughes (Oman) Abdulkareem Alsofi, Petroleum Engineer, Reservoir Engineering Technology at the EXPEC Advanced Research Center, Saudi Aramco, WPC YP (Saudi Arabia). David Lankford-Bravo, PhD Student at University of Texas at El Paso, and WPC YP (USA) moderated the session.
