On October 19, 2024, a delegation from the University of Manila (Universidad de Manila, UDM) arrived at the European University at St. Petersburg on an official visit.
Within the framework of the meeting, introductions were made, and there was an exchange of presentations. The President of the University of Manila, Dr. Felma Carlos-Tria, spoke briefly about the main areas of UDM’s educational programs and expressed hope for their expansion, including through the exchange of experience and joint work on partner research and, possibly, educational projects. Present at the meeting, Dr. Ronald A. Herrera, UDM Vice President for Research, Mr. Jeffrey Litan, UDM Vice President for Control and Operations, and Mr. Manfredo A. Marcelano, Vice President for Administration. All expressed their readiness to assist in strengthening ties between the universities and establishing partnerships in the development of international education.
