Mr. Howard is in charge of ExxonMobil oil lubricant sales in Russia and Ukraine

As the Russia Cluster Lubes Manager, Scott Howard is responsible for managing ExxonMobil’s lubricants business in Russia and Ukraine. 

Scott began his career with ExxonMobil in 1990 at its corporate headquarters in New York.  The first few years he worked in a variety of accounting and analyst roles before moving to a sales position in the Chemicals company. 

In 1997, Scott moved to Johannesburg, South Africa as part of a fifteen person team to reenter the market.  He continued on in expatriate roles in both France, as Africa Middle East Training Advisor and then Brussels, where he held several marketing and sales roles focused on developing our business through distributors in both the Africa Middle East and then European Zone organizations. 

In 2004, Scott returned to the US to the company’s downstream headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia where he held a variety of sales and marketing positions including Americas Automotive Marketing Manager where he was responsible for developing programs to grow both the Mobil 1 and Mobil Delvac brands.  He assumed his current role in July 2009.

Scott holds an B.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas and a M.B.A. in Marketing from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. 

Scott and his wife Lynda currently live in Moscow.  They have one daughter; five-year old Ella and three dogs.
