Graduates of the EUSP’s Department of Economics presented on "A PhD in Economics: How should I set about it?"

In this context “setting about it” relates not only to the PhD but, in the first instance, to choosing a path once finishing a Master’s degree. It also relates to one’s life and career, choosing a pathway and which one will lead to the greatest success.

The presenters talked about their own practical experience, discussed the ways into an education abroad and the pros and cons of a PhD. They touched upon the extent to which a PhD helps ones career, the best countries and universities in which to study and how to prepare yourself when starting a PhD. They also answered questions put forward from the audience.
