Aleksei Kudrin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Finance Minister of the Russian Federation, member of the Board of Trustees of the EUSP and the EUSP Fund met with students, graduates, and instructors of the University. Mr. Kudrin spoke about the role of the EUSP in the progress of academics in contemporary Russia, discussed his experience with his own studies, shared memories about his work with professors of the EUSP, and elaborated on his perspective on the contemporary economic situation in the country.
After Kudrin’s speech, Boris Firsov, the head research fellow, first rector, and founder of the EUSP, was awarded with a certificate of honor from the Russian Federation for his many years of effective pedagogical and academic activities. Resolution (pdf, 141КВ)
