On 7-8 February executive director of the ENERPO Research Center Maxim Titov took part in the 5th International Symposium on Sustainability «Climate "How": How to Engage Society and Deploy Decarbonization».
A two-day program organized by Alcantara and VIU – Venice International University - with the support of the World Bank Group’s Connect4Climate global partnership program, that will bring together representatives of civil society, international organizations, scientists, entrepreneurs, economists, policymakers.
The event’s participants have explored the question of “how to” generate engagement in addressing actions to mitigate global temperature growth and move towards a decarbonized economy and society at different levels. This goal will require the establishment of an effective communication plan to change attitudes and behaviors within different segments of society, in order to build a low-carbon future.
During his presentation, Maxim Titov paid particular attention to the energy efficiency issue in Russia.
