Prominent scholars from several European countries discuss memory of WWII in their societies.

- Martin Aust | PhD, Professor of History and Culture of Eastern Europe and Russia, University of Bonn | The current German debate on how to commemorate victims of Germany's war of annihilation (1939–1945).
- Markku Kangaspuro | Director, Russian, Eurasian and Eastern European Studies (Aleksanteri Institute), University of Helsinki | When symbolic figures of General C.G.E. Mannerheim and V.I. Lenin meet. How the old myths were swapped to new ones after World War II.
- Sigurd Sørlie | Associate Professor/Head of Centre for Civil-Military Relations, Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies | Heroes and villains: Resistance fighters and Nazi collaborators in Norwegian memory (1945–2020).
