A PLATFORM FOR EXPERIMENTATION
The University creates new fields at the intersection of disciplines. We have found ways to combine the social sciences and humanities with computer science while preserving a high level of teaching in classical disciplines. Education combines hard skills with social analysis.
AN INDIVIDUAL LEARNING PATH
Small study groups and an average student-to-teacher ratio of 1:3 make it possible to take courses from other programs and build an individual learning path.
REAL RESEARCH
EUSP is a research university. This means that your studies are closely connected with research, and your thesis becomes a serious project discussed and tested according to international academic standards. You can also gain research and project experience in one of the University’s research centers.
STATE-FUNDED PLACES, SCHOLARSHIPS AND DISCOUNTS
EUSP educational programs have state accreditation. Students may receive a deferment from military service, use educational loans, and participate in scholarship competitions. Some programs also offer state-funded places.
Students can receive scholarships from 15,000 to 30,000 rubles, as well as tuition discounts from 50% to 95%.
Students registered more than 25 km from St. Petersburg may receive housing compensation of 10,000 rubles per month.
Professional Programs
All professional programsEUSP is located in the city center, close to St. Petersburg’s Golden Triangle and within walking distance of several metro stations: Chernyshevskaya and Ploshchad Lenina, with Gorkovskaya, Ploshchad Vosstaniya and Gostiny Dvor a little farther away. You can grab a coffee and be taking notes in class twenty minutes later.
Within a few kilometers of the University there are several cultural venues with which EUSP regularly develops joint projects: the State Hermitage Museum, the Russian Museum, the Joseph Brodsky Museum “A Room and a Half”, the Fountain House, KGallery and New Holland. Bookstores also hold a special place, including Podpisnye Izdaniya, Konets Prekrasnoy Epokhi and Zhelty Dvor. Members of the EUSP community give lectures at these venues, and many of our alumni work there.
