Maxim Titov joined the European University at Saint-Petersburg in 2016 as an Executive Director of the Energy Policy Research Center (ENERPO).
His mission is to further expand ENERPO’s expertise as a leading think tank with strong focus on policy development and advocacy for sustainable development, climate change and energy efficiency in Russia.
Maxim is an expert of the Commission on economics of climate change and sustainable development, International Chamber of Commerce – Russia.
From 2003 to 2015 Maxim Titov served as a Program Manager at the International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group. He continuously held managerial positions with strong focus on sustainability and climate finance in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa region.
Prior to the World Bank Group Maxim was a lawyer in large international FMCG investment project, and a legal adviser at one of the leading international law firm operating in Russia.
Maxim Titov graduated from St. Petersburg State University, Faculty of Law.
As a part of his professional development Maxim completed the "Economics of Climate Change" course at the University of Cambridge (UK), the course on
Project Management at the Georgetown University (US), and the Global Business Leadership Program at INSEAD (France).
Fellowship by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
Maxim speaks Russian, English and French.
