On August 30 at 8:25 AM the rector of the European University Vadim Volkov reached the eastern summit of Mount Elbrus (elevation 5621 m).

ACRA and the European University at St. Petersburg have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to develop the green and responsible finance market, as well as corporate sustainability practices. The memorandum on cooperation was signed by Managing Director of ACRA Alexey Mukhin and Rector of the European University Vadim Volkov.

The New University League brings together new-generation Russian universities created according to international standards. Founded by the European University at St. Petersburg, the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences, the New Economic School (NES), and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), the League is open to other Russian and international universities committed to pursue the best management practices, high educational standards, and world-class frontier research.

St. Petersburg's leading business daily Delovoi Peterburg has published a special issue dedicated to higher education in the city. They have ranked Petersburg's universities based on data about alumni salaries. European University at St. Petersburg tops the ranking with a significantly higher average salary paid to its alumni.
