The Bank of Russia and the magazine "Money and Credit" («Деньги и кредит») have summed up the results of the 2025 Competition of Undergraduate and Graduate Student Economic Research. Among the winners is Dmitry Novikov, a PhD student of the program "Economic Theory".

This year, the Swedish National Bank's Alfred Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded to the American economist Claudia Goldin of Harvard University for "advancing our understanding of women in the labor market."

Julia Vymyatnina, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the European University in Saint Petersburg, in an interview with reporters of the daily national Norwegian newspaper Klassekampen, commented on the economic situation in Russia in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
