In the second episode of the School of Computational Social Sciences' podcast "It's Not That Complicated," host Maria Svetlichnaya is joined by Yulia Vymyatnina, Director of the School's Economics programs, and Kirill Borisov, Professor in the same field.

The conversation will focus on economics as a science: human behavior, the limits of forecasting, Goodhart's law, human (il)rationality, the differences between economics and physics and chemistry, and the place of mathematics in economics (you'll be surprised!).

The discussion also touches upon self-fulfilling prophecies, envy, experiments, and economic imperialism.
