EUSP Gender Studies Program, with the sponsorship of Novartis International AG, hosted an international seminar, dedicated to the fifteenth anniversary of the program
The seminar covered the following topics:
• Theoretical understandings of care in contemporary society
• The everyday and practices of care
• Care routines for dependent members of the family (children and the elderly)
• Globalisation and care chains
• Dilemmas of institutionalization and informal care
• Commercialisation and professional care
• Medical and reproductive care
The seminar concluded with a round table discussion surrounding the topic of "The development of gender studies in 1997-2012"
