Department of Art History alumna Marina Musurok won first place in a competition sponsored by the International Center of Medieval Art (New York, USA) for the best student (graduate) work on medieval art, “Constructing Imaginary Cities in Fifteenth-Century Illumination: The Iconography of Troy as Mental Discourse”. Musurok’s project further developed the conclusions of her Masters thesis, which she defended at the European University in 2013 (adviser Natalia Mazur).
