On November 3, a ceremony was held at East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai to mark the donation of a collection of over 200 books from the Foundation for the Heritage of the Russian Diaspora to the university library. The project was carried out with the participation of the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of Russia Abroad and the European University at St. Petersburg, with support from the State Corporation VEB.RF.
Participating in the ceremony were ECNU Vice President Lei Qili, Secretary of the Library's Party Organization Zhou Jian, European University Vice-Rector for Research Igor Khodachek, Executive Director of the EUSPb Center for Eurasian Studies Olga Makarova, Executive Director of the Foundation for the Heritage of the Russian Diaspora and EUSPb Vice-Rector for Development Elena Chernyshkova. The event was moderated by Bei Wenli, Deputy Director of the ECNU Center for Russian Studies.
The book collection was presented by Svetlana Romanova, Program Director of the Foundation for the Heritage of the Russian Diaspora.
