We congratulate Yakov Shcheglov, a staff member of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Medical Studies and a graduate of the European University's Master's program, on defending his PhD dissertation! The work was carried out at the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The topic of Yakov's dissertation is "The Institutionalization of Veterinary Medicine for Small Domestic Animals in a Large Russian City: The Case of St. Petersburg."
The defense took place on September 17. His academic supervisor was Zhanna Chernova, Doctor of Sociological Sciences and Leading Researcher at the Sociological Institute of the RAS.
