The 500 winners of the second competitive selection for the Russian Presidential Scholarship for graduate students and adjuncts have been announced. This scholarship is awarded to talented young researchers who will tackle large-scale research challenges. The monthly stipend amounts to 75,000 rubles, with payments awarded for a period ranging from 1 to 4 years.
Daria was nominated for the competition by her academic supervisor Anastasia Novkunskaya , Academic Director of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Medical Research, and Associate Professor of Qualitative Research in Health and Medicine.
In total, more than 4,600 applications from 73 regions of Russia were submitted for the competition. The largest number of applications was submitted in the "Engineering Sciences" category. Notably, among applicants not affiliated with federal state institutions, only three universities were represented: Skoltech, Sirius and the European University at St. Petersburg.
Daria Nikitina, a first-year graduate student at the School of Computational Social Sciences, was among the 500 winners selected in the competition.
