How the Borders cause an Over-integration or an Over-differentiation in the Modern World.

If one thing has become clear in the last few years, it is that the borders of social entities do matter. The experience of the relevance of geopolitical but also other institutional borderlines has been made in the West and in the East. Failures of globalization, migration pressure or the collapse of the Middle East affect both the Western societies and Russia or, to some degree, China. But these shock waves meet different shapes of institutional borders in the West and the East. So the question at stake is if there are some more or less fixed connections between the form of the institutional borders and the absorption of the globalization shake-up.
