Since 2004 in the framework of the Gender Studies Program (department of political sciences and sociology, EUSP) takes place a regular seminar, which considers questions of theory, methodology and practice of gender studies.
This seminar has been organized in order to form an interdisciplinary ground, where researchers and activists interested in gender and feminist issues, in issues of care as the category of sociological analysis, and in issues of sociology of medicine and health, can discuss ongoing fieldwork or present outcomes of the projects. According to these aims, the seminar takes one of the two main formats: 1) workshop dedicated to preliminary analysis of empirical materials from current research projects; 2) presentation and discussion of accomplished researches.
