Факультет экономики ЕУСПб находится на верхних позициях рейтинга RePEc и на 4 месте в России по версии проекта Tilburg University Top 100 of Economics Schools Research Ranking

(University of Chicago, University of Rochester, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Leicester, Stockholm School of Economics и др.), либо находят работу в бизнесе и консалтинге (Сбербанк, НОВАТЭК, Газпром нефть, World Bank Group) или органах государственной власти (Центральный Банк Российской Федерации, Министерство экономического развития).

Соответствие наших программ не только государственным образовательным стандартам (ЕУСПб получил свидетельство о государственной аккредитации), но и мировым практикам обеспечивается благодаря работе Международного консультативного совета факультета.

Отзывы

  • The DPT of economics at EUSPb provides intensive courses in small groups. Regularly you can attend lessons of internationally renowned economists and chat with them after lecture. The well thought-out programs are very intensive and the linked modules force you and motivate you to keep up. As a small department the atmosphere is very familiar. The communication between professors, staff and students is very free and, therefore, university life always felt great.

    Peter Promegger (Liebherr)

  • About the European University at St. Petersburg, or rather, about its Department of Economics, I would not only like to say a few kind words, but also like to express a real gratitude for the mere fact of existence of such a wonderful community that is supported by no less remarkable faculty. They are professionals of a highest calibre, passionate about transferring their experience to students of the department. They are lecturers and instructors concerned about adequate transformation of a young researcher into a professional scientist.

Evgeny Gilenko (St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management)

  • The European University (EU), in my opinion, is a unique educational institution that allows people who already received their first degree to realise their creative and professional potential in their chosen field of specialisation or, as it happened to me, in a related field. It was here that my fundamental mathematical knowledge naturally found its application in such an applied domain of human activity as economics.

    Oleg Markovsky (JSC NOVATEK)

  • I am very grateful to the Department of Economics at EUSP for the excellent training which let me continue my studies on a doctoral programme at the European University Institute in Florence.

  • Recalling the years spent at EUSP, I would first of all point to a high level of the course curriculum, as well as to good methodological and technical facilities provided for students (the EUSP library is above all praise). Separately, I would compliment the professors and instructors — all without exception — for their professionalism, the utter dedication to courses they teach, demanding attitude towards students in their classes, but at the same time adherence to the principles of democracy, respectful demeanour and treating students as equals.

Vitaly Okulov (Saint Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management)

  • The years of training at the European University were a wonderful and exciting time. Within three years, I was presented with new knowledge, learned to deal without fear with scientific theories not previously known to me, as well as to read scientific publications and articles with ease. After graduation, I quickly found an interesting job — I have been involved in business evaluation in one of investment companies in St. Petersburg. I think of the teachers at the Department of Economics with great warmth and sincere gratitude.

    Olga Izmakova (Dekart Group)

  • The Department of Economics of the European University at St. Petersburg provides excellent and still rather rare in Russia an opportunity for becoming an economist in an international understanding of the profession. I was able to first ascertain that by participating in grant competitions run by the Russian Economic Research Program, where grant proposals are evaluated by a jury of international experts, and then by continuing my studies in the graduate school at the University of Chicago.

    Peter Savelyev (Vanderbilt University)

  • The Department of Economics at EUSP is the place where I keep coming back and feel like home.
