Michael aims to cover the US shale gas revolution that occurred largely in the Permian Basin of West Texas and how that has impacted the US and Global LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) and petrochemical industries in broad strokes. We will address the wellhead-to-Walmart production stages,  US exports and the US-China trade war, and Covid's impact on the industry. No oil, no gas. Michael will be happy to talk about Argus Media, a major global price reporting agency with an office in Moscow. 

 

Michael Camarda is a Market Reporter at Argus Media specializing in North American olefins and natural gas liquids. Argus Media—a global commodity price reporting agency. Michael is skilled in data analysis and market intelligence, with a particular focus on the US petrochemical sector, he is fluent in Russian. After completing his BA at Yale University, Michael graduated from EUSP ENERPO Program in 2014. He served as an Associate Director of the ENERPO Program in 2015–2017.

 

The ENERPO Workshop Series hosts prominent representatives from the fields of academia, business, and politics. ENERPO program guest speakers share their knowledge and experience by touching upon a variety of topics related to Energy Politics in Eurasia. The lectures are followed by a Q&A session.
